I also have a Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education - completed in 2013. The graduate certificate focused on assessment for learning through curriculum based measurement and assessment, a number of strategies for differentiating the curriculum, behaviour management in diverse settings, as well as working collaboratively with others for the benefit of students. The course had a major focus on inclusion of students with special needs and the different avenues a teacher can take to cater for their needs. Through undertaking this course my ideas around presenting content to students has grown and developed, and I feel that I will be more capable of addressing the different needs and abilities of the students I may have in my class.
